The Tail Trail is a family owned and operated Pet Care service company that provides tailor-made, quality care to your pets when you can't.
At The Tail Trail, we also believe that the best place to care for your dogs/cats is in your own home. And, it is this belief that shaped our 'In-Your-Home' approachtoPet Sitting. By maintaining your pet's feeding, exercise and sleeping schedules, In-Your-Home, we are able to significantly reduce your pet's anxiety, while you're away. Additionally, by staying home, your pet's exposure to boarding related illness, such as kennel cough, is eliminated.
The Tail Trail is based out of Oradell, NJ and was founded in 2010 to provide dog walking and pet sitting services to our surrounding community. From there, we quickly grew to include many towns throughout Bergen County. In 2012, the company expanded its territory to include several towns in Hudson County, as well. And in December of 2013 we launched a Retail Boutique specifically for pet lovers called Fur the Love of Pets. Our new boutique is located at 32A Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, NJ.
Each and every member of The Tail Trail team is Bonded & Insured, and, of course, loves animals . . . especially dogs and cats! Equally important, we take pride in what we do and are professional, reliable, honest and trustworthy. We also understand that you are entrusting us with caring for a member of your family and as such, we take our job very seriously!
When you call The Tail Trail you can rest assured that we will care for your dog and/or cat as if it were our very own!
At The Tail Trail, we strongly believe that all dogs need regularly scheduled, structured exercise. Introducing your dog, whether it small, mid-size or large; a puppy, adolescent or senior, to a consistent exercise regime is a great way to help it develop and maintain a healthy body and temperament. And, having your dog walked with The Tail Trail is a great way to provide your dog with the exercise that it needs.
Establishing a Walking regime with The Tail Trail will optimize your dog's muscle tone, agility and stamina. In addition, regular walks with us have proven to reduce and/or eliminate bad behavior, especially in high energy breeds and puppies!
